Dialogue with history and the nation’s conscience

On behalf of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the author Qudratilla Rafiqov for his profound analytical article titled “Alamim Bor” published in Ishonch newspaper, dedicated to the history of Uzbekistan and the opening of the Center of Islamic Civilization.

This significant work is deeply meaningful, written with a high level of professional mastery, and carries great cultural value. It is not mere journalism but a sincere dialogue with history and the conscience of the nation. The article is not only a research piece but also a demonstration of the skill of delivering ideas to society clearly and convincingly. This elevates the work to a high intellectual level.

In every line of the article, one feels the unceasing pain for lost opportunities and sorrow for past indifference. Particularly powerful are the author’s reflections on how, for many years, we could not present the vast legacy left by our great rulers and thinkers to the world. The rhetorical questions — “Why? Why? Why?..” — become an expression of the shared anguish in the hearts of all who ponder the fate of our history and culture. The article helps each of us develop a deeper understanding of our responsibility to preserve and advance our cultural and historical heritage.

Alongside these painful reflections, the article is infused with rays of hope, boundless love for the Motherland, and confidence in its future. In this sense, the author emphasizes the historic role of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The large-scale initiatives of the Head of State are aimed at strengthening national consciousness, safeguarding historical memory, supporting enlightenment and cultural initiatives, and clearly and convincingly demonstrating Uzbekistan’s unique contribution to world civilization at the international level.

As the author notes, thanks to the personal initiative and direct support of the President, the Center of Islamic Civilization was established. It has become a new and noble symbol of the country’s spiritual and cultural renaissance. The Center not only preserves and promotes our rich history, scientific, and artistic heritage but also unites scholars and researchers from all over the world, giving strong impetus to international scientific and cultural cooperation.

The article helps readers view the Center not merely as a museum or scientific venue, but as a living platform that preserves the memory of the people, inspires future generations, and strengthens international cultural cooperation. The arguments presented by the author raise public awareness of the significance of the Center and its educational mission initiated by the President.

Indeed, this unique project harmonizes past and future, tradition and modernity, creating a new space for dialogue between science and culture, and allowing the modern individual to come face-to-face with the greatness of a thousand-year history. Once again, we express our gratitude to our Head of State for conceiving and successfully implementing this grand cultural and educational mega-project that will become the pride and eternal legacy of our people.

We sincerely thank the author for this work and for his heartfelt engagement with the complex yet necessary topics it addresses. We wish Qudratilla Mirsag‘atovich new ideas and even greater creative achievements. We are confident that this work will serve as a source of spiritual awakening for many of our contemporaries.
