The spiritual light emphasized by the President — at the Center for Islamic Civilization
🔴 114 Manuscripts, Descriptions in 3 Languages, and the Uthman Qur’an — a mysterious journey awaits you in the historical exhibition

In recent years, great attention has been paid in our country to strengthening freedom of conscience and belief and raising religious and educational literacy. At the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, manuscripts, printed and digital literature in this field are being collected, and special exhibitions are being prepared.
One of the main sections of the Center is the Qur’an Hall, which expresses boundless reverence for the blessed Word of the Creator.
As our Honorable President has emphasized:
“To hear and to be able to listen to the Qur’an is a sign of high spirituality and enlightenment. The Qur’an never calls for evil. If we can listen to the Qur’an and make it heard, this will be a true success. Light will come to our nation”.

The central exhibit in the hall is the Uthman Qur’an, considered one of the first six written copies in human history. It holds a special place as a sacred text of universal significance.
In addition, the hall displays 114 rare Qur’an manuscripts directly related to Uzbekistan, presented in both original and facsimile form. Their images are accompanied by descriptions in Uzbek, English, and Arabic. Some manuscripts are being recreated in facsimile and model form.

As specialists note, although copies in the Hafs ‘an ‘Asim recitation are widespread in our country, the exhibition also presents mushafs written in other recitations. Each manuscript is provided with scholarly commentary and annotations, giving visitors detailed information about the calligraphy schools, writing styles, periods, and ornamentation.
The entire historical layers of Qur’an manuscripts are revealed, era by era.
