“This library will become a model source for the world in the fields of Islamic civilization and science”, – Ayhan Tuglu

According to Ayhan Tuglu, Director of the National Library under the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s announcement at the United Nations about the opening of this Center was, in fact, a very important statement from the perspective of the revival of Islamic civilization on a global scale.

First of all, the opening of such a Center is a great source of pride for Turkey as well. It is very pleasing that our brothers in Uzbekistan have prepared and inaugurated such a center.

 

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s statement at the United Nations meeting about the opening of this Center was, in fact, a very important declaration for the entire world in terms of the revival of Islamic civilization. Once upon a time, great figures such as Bukhari, Ulugh Beg, and Termizi emerged from these lands. I am confident that through this Center, new scholars and luminaries will also grow and become an example to the world.

 

As we toured the museum section, we saw many rare works. The fact that this place reflects the lives of the great personalities who emerged from these lands, showcases Islamic civilization, and preserves the original copies of their writings is of immense importance. In particular, I must highlight the excellence of the library section, which relates directly to my field. This library will become a model source for the world in the fields of Islamic civilization and science.

 

In my opinion, this place will become one of the most important centers in the world. I am confident that it will serve as an example to the entire world in matters of Islamic civilization, religion, science, and culture.
