Tashkent has become a platform for scholarly dialogue among the peoples of Central Asia
A number of important meetings and forums covering history, culture, literature, cinema, digital technologies, and religious-educational fields have been included in the program of the international congress titled “Central Asia: shared spiritual and educational heritage – shared future,” which is continuing at the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.
For example, at the Second Forum of Central Asian Historians, participants discussed the region’s common historical roots, joint research in source studies and archaeology, as well as issues related to studying tangible and intangible heritage.
At the “Great past – great future” artists’ meeting, views were exchanged on the shared aspects of the artistic heritage of brotherly peoples, contemporary art trends, and the development of creative cooperation.
During the “Literary friendship – eternal friendship” dialogue, attention was given to reviving the translation school, strengthening literary ties, and creating new opportunities for young writers.
At the cinema forum, proposals were voiced on promoting cultural values in documentary and historical films and expanding regional cooperation in the field.
The “Preserving islamic values” forum addressed issues of safeguarding religious-educational heritage, improving modern religious education, and strengthening tolerance among youth.
At the session titled “Youth and the digital era,” proposals were put forward regarding the use of artificial intelligence technologies in digitizing cultural heritage, supporting youth innovation, and advancing digital humanities projects.
The international congress is undoubtedly set to play an important role in elevating the spiritual unity, solidarity, and scholarly cooperation among the peoples of Central Asia to a higher level.
