Euronews: Tashkent hosts congress to push Central Asia’s cultural and educational cooperation

 

The reputable international news agency Euronews reported that the international congress titled “Central Asia: shared spiritual and educational heritage – shared future” was held at the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, with representatives from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan participating.

 

The congress focused on issues related to preserving and studying the region’s shared spiritual and educational heritage within a modern scientific environment.

 

During one of the key panel sessions, participants discussed the role of Islamic values in strengthening regional cooperation and reviewed practical steps to expand joint academic research, cultural projects, and educational initiatives.

 

More than 300 experts emphasized that Central Asia’s common historical and religious foundations continue to serve as an important connecting factor for the region’s societies.

 

The discussions created a platform for open dialogue on heritage preservation, scholarly collaboration, and the cultural ties that have long shaped relations among the peoples of Central Asia.
